Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2)
- Monday 20 November 2017 to Thursday 23 November 2017
- The Met Hotel, King Street, Leeds, LS1 2HQ
Four Days Training
9am to 4.30pm
Led by Dr Carol Stott, from Beginning with A, this course will cover ADOS through practical activies, videos, live interviews and discussions. The ADOS is a semi-structured, standardised assessment of communication, social interaction, and play or imaginative use of materials for individuals who have been referred because of possible autism or autistic spectrum disorders. The second edition (ADOS-2) improves an instrument already viewed as the gold standard for observational assessment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). ADOS-2 is revised with a new toddler module, and revised algorithms for modules 1-3.
This comprehensive course provides in-depth coverage of ADOS-2.
On completion of this 4-day course together with associated pre and post course assignments, delegates will be equipped to administer and code the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) to the level of Research Reliability.
Comments from Previous Delegates:
"Really good the amount of practice you got observing and coding. The ‘live’ ADOS helped to understand more how it would feel to do"
"Carol Stott is an experienced and clearly knowledgeable presenter in this diagnostic tool but also autism more generally"
"I enjoyed the whole experience, particularly two case studies"
