On 25th May, a new data protection law, the General Data Protection Law (‘GDPR’), comes into effect in the UK. The GDPR will give you more control over your personal data, and greater transparency around how it is used this is a new piece of EU legislation that will replace the current Data Protection Act (1998). At The Andrew Sims Centre, we have always been committed to keeping your personal data safe and secure, and the GDPR does not change our commitment to you. The Andrew Sims Centre ("ASC") is part of Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust ("LYPFT").
This website will record your personal information and any other information if volunteered by you to us, for example, if you subscribe to our mailing list or book a place on one of our events. Your personal information will be used by the ASC to process your application to attend our events and to keep you informed of ASC events and activities.

If you book a place on one of our events, your personal information will not be made available to selected event co-partner organisations, or to companies sponsoring or exhibiting at our events unless you indicate otherwise. By providing any non-personal information or material to the Andrew Sims Centre, including but not limited to, customer feedback, suggestions for future events, ideas and concepts for future training, you grant the Andrew Sims Centre an unrestricted license to use, reproduce, display, perform, modify, transmit and distribute those materials or information.
