West Yorkshire Psychiatry Trainee Engagement Forum

FREE for all grades of psychiatry trainee, consultants and trust directors from the
mental health trusts within West Yorkshire region.

Following the release of the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Supported and Valued Review into trainee morale and training in psychiatry, this forum aims to address the key issues for psychiatry trainees in the West Yorkshire region. A recent survey identified that trainees do not feel that the West Yorkshire training programme has an identity and we hope to develop this through holding this regular regional event.

This unique forum will bring board level and medical education representatives together with trainees to develop a stronger relationship and allow trainees to have their voices heard.  This will enable open discussions about local and regional concerns with those in a position to make widespread and timely changes.
